Children should wear grey trousers / grey skirts / grey pinafore dresses / grey shorts with white polo shirts and a school jumper / cardigan /tank top / fleece. In the summer, the girls can wear the checked summer dresses in a colour of their choice (many wear the colour of their ‘house’).
All school uniform worn by children at Hawkinge Primary School can be purchased from the local supermarkets – but the jumpers / cardigans / tank top / fleece can only be purchased from Channel Uniform in Folkestone (details below) or from Springers (details below). Both retailers sell school coats / school book bags etc – you can buy these or coats / book bags of your own choice.
No school uniform can be purchased from the school office.
All school uniform must be labelled (including PE shoes / lunch boxes and clothing) – please see the link below from IdeaArc for easily attached name labels!

At this current time children can come into school wearing P.E. kit on the day that they have P.E. They do not need to wear school uniform on this day at all. Please click here to download the current PE timetable.
PE kit can be purchased from local supermarkets. Children are expected to wear:
- Blue or black shorts
- White t-shirt or a t-shirt to match house they are in (Red – Spitfire, Blue – Lysander, Yellow – Hurricane, Green – Lancaster). The children will remain in the same house for their time at Hawkinge Primary School
- A tracksuit and trainers for outdoor PE in KS2 (Years 3-6)
